1. Gautam Gambhir – Natasha Jain

Gautam Gambhir, the star cricketer of the Indian national squad and the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in the latest IPL edition, married Natasha Jain in a lavish ceremony at a farmhouse in West End Greens on Delhi-Gurgaon highway. The elegant floral themed wedding décor was complimented with fleur-de-lis sequenced motif, with the flowers imported from Thailand, Holland, and London. Although the ceremony had all the ingredients that a person wishes for in his or her wedding, the entire ceremony was kept a low profile. The limited guest list included the who’s who of Indian cricket and Bollywood fraternity.

2. Vijender Singh – Archana Singh

Vijender Singh, the gorgeously handsome pugilist of India who made the country proud by winning an Olympic medal in Beijing Olympics, married the beautiful Delhi based software engineer Archana Singh at Flying Club, New Delhi. The wedding was attended by high profile guests like Rahul Gandhi and others. The couple had been dating for four years before they decided to tie the knot.

3. Kunal Nayyar – Neha Kapur

Miss India 2006 Neha Kapur married actor Kunal Nayyar in Delhi. This wedding was all glittery, glitzy and glamorous. Spanning over six days, the wedding was lavish in every sense of the word. The reception was organized at Delhi Gymkhana and had over a thousand guests pouring in to wish and bless the newlyweds. This was truly a ‘Big fat Indian wedding’.

4. Reema Sen – Shiv Karan Singh

Famous actress Reema Sen married hotelier Shiv Karan Singh with a lot of pomp and grandeur in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The wedding was rife with much fanfare. Sangeet, Mehendi and wedding ceremonies were all organized beautifully. The bride looked stunning in a yellow lehenga designed especially for her by Sabyasachi and the groom was dressed smartly in a Mannu Arya suit. The wedding venue looked like a fairy tale set up, all done up with candles, greens and lots of white lilies. The food, which was a typical Punjabi fare planned by celebrity chef Marut Sikka, was a huge hit among the guests. The bride and groom were friends for a couple of years before Shiv proposed and the relationship culminated in a beautiful Delhi wedding.

5. Nayonika Chatterjee – Gurpreet Singh

Nayonika Chatterjee, the Bengali beauty known for her great dusky looks and known famously as the Naomi Campbell of India, wedded Gurpreet Singh, an actor-model in Delhi. This couple dated for twelve long years planned a wedding once before, canceled it and finally decided to take the wedding vows in 2001. In Delhi, they decided to become one in holy matrimony.
